First day of autumn / spring

The first day of autumn, or the autumn equinox, is where day and night are of equal lengths.
In the southern hemisphere, the date marks the beginning of Spring.

Candlelit Snow Drop Walk at Attingham Park

I am slightly ashamed that it is nearly March and this is my first post of the year, however, I think I have hopefully redeemed myself by it being something a bit unusual!

I decided to visit Attingham Park for a Snowdrop Walk with a difference, it was by Candle light. I had no idea what it would be like but was very pleasantly surprised by the completely magical atmosphere which was created. With mulled wine in the bothy it felt like Christmas again! 

I got carried away with taking photographs in the vegetable garden, everything looked so different, the colours and the shadows were great. Might be doing more night garden photography in the future if I can find more I can get into!
